Cortado was created as a juxtaposition; a light and refreshing pale ale with an unexpected addition of Arabica coffee to really get the tastebuds working overtime. Traditionally, coffee would be reserved for darker beers, but we love the way it intertwines with hints of caramel, citrus and vanilla throughout.

L: Hazy, marmalade colour with a thick, long-lasting head that leaves sheets of lacing.
S: Light roast coffee over gooseberry. Top coffee aroma.
T: Gentle coffee and apricot flavours. Bitterness starts medium and builds to high.
F: Soft and smooth but very dry.
O: A pale ale with coffee. A surprising brew that works. Very bitter, despite the lactose.
