Named after a borough on the edge of the historic City of Munich, Hadern is a classic Bavarian-style Dunkel. Dark and inviting, our collaboration lager welcomes you in with a subtle sweetness and warming notes of toasted bread and nuts. The mouthfeel is soft and complex, with hints of caramel intertwined with a kiss of noble hops. This has been a true labour of love with our friends at Donzoko, who are renowned for making superb German-style beers.
Hops: Hallertau Tradition.
Malt: Munich, Pilsner, Crystal, Chocolate.

440ml can.
L: Chestnut brown with streams of micro-bubbles and three fingers of rich & creamy, long-lasting tan head.
S: A distant bonfire.
T: Smokey, toasty, sweet coffee and brazil nuts. Gentle bitterness.
F: Medium body with some mouth coating.
O: A rich, almost sweet and very toasty dunkel. Tastes and smells almost like a rauchbier (when it warms up). I drank this in the summer but I think it might be better as a winter warmer.
