Novi is a well-balanced beer inspired by the Novi Special 1940s racing car and the Novi Team engines developed in Novi, Michigan. Its colour scheme nods to Bobby Unser's ‘Novi Special’. The beer itself pours a delightfully hazy gold with a frothy white head, releasing punchy aromas of lemon, pineapple, and peach. The mouthfeel is decadent, with flavours of candied fruit and melon ensconced in a pillowy, creamy body, finished with just a touch of bitterness.

440m can.
L: Light haze, pale yellow colour with a thin head that recedes to a ring and leaves no lacing.
S &T: Vague citrus & tropical fruit. Slightly acidic finish.
F: Light body, almost watery, not quite saved by moderate carbonation. Thin mouthfeel.
O: Bland and insipid version of an American-style pale ale. Low ABV but no other redeeming features. A rare total miss from Thornbridge. But priced at £4/can!!??
The beer description from the brewery is like it’s from a totally different beer. In no respect is what I drank “punchy”, “decadent” or “pillowy”.
