Brother Rabbit pours lemon zest in colour with a fresh citrus hop aroma. Bottle conditioned with our cask ale yeast. This beer is dry and fruity with a gentle bitterness, making it a great session beer.

Cask, gravity dispense, at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Golden colour, small white head. Nice aroma of light malts, citrus and toffee. Fairly light bodied, but good for a 4% beer. Tingling citrussy hops on the tongue, decent bitterness in the finish.

330ml bottle conditioned.
L: Very light haze, bright yellow colour with a few streams of bubbles. Thin, white cap leaves many rings and spots of lacing.
S: Light and lemony aroma.
T: Lemon zest and yellow grapefruit with a powder dry finish.
F: Medium body, slick mouthfeel, moderate carbonation, light astringency.
O: This fresh & zippy English golden ale balances soft pale malt with lemony hops. A moreish summertime thirst quencher that begs a second bottle (or better still, a second pint on cask, if available).

Served on cask via handpump at the Port Street bar in Manchester and very much proving my thoughts that the cask is vastly superior to the bright bottles with this superb beer

Gravity halfpint at The Euston Tap; this particular serving was from a dry-hopped cask, but I think it's best to add a general listing for the beer.
A: Clear pale gold body with a sticky cap of clumpy white foam. Great retention and lace. Excellent.
S: Herbal hops and nothing else. Not as aromatic as I'd like, and nowhere near as complex.
T: Waaay better, with some pleasantly faint malt leading to huge herbal hop dankness and an ultra clean finish. Super refreshing and quaffable.
M: Classic cask: slick light body with moderate, ultra-fine carbonation.
O: I really expected more from the nose on such a hoppy ale, but the delicious taste more than made up for it. Yet another winner from Thornbridge.
Cheers!
