Drank from my Duvel Tulip
A - Pours a thick dark Ebony colour with no light through. The head is tanned and two fingered and lasts the entire distance. Excellent.
S - Sweet phenols of chocolate, molasses, Toffee and Caramel and very pronounced. Has similar aromas to a Werthers Original lolly.
T - Up front some nice caramel/vanilla flavours. The middle is a little roasty overtaken by milk chocolate. The finish is a little bitter, slightly warm with absolutely no sign of the 11.5 % ABV.
M - Full body and low carbonation that makes for a super smooth drop.
O - Well, this beer is a case in point. Super balanced, super smooth, with plenty to offer. Its really hard to fault this brew. Yet there are one off super duper batches that you must prove that you have visited Bhutan once in your lifetime to acquire, that will rate higher on this site. Which really makes the whole thing a complete joke. Excellent and recommended
