£1.09/500ml from Lidl Cambridge - I wasn't expecting much for that, but you know for the px I think it's a good job and I'd happily buy it again.

Bottle. Clear dark amber. Thin light tan head.
Smells of chocolate and roasted grain.
Charred toast flavour with a bitter finish.
Soft carbonation. Rather thin.
Okay for a supermarket produced porter.

Purchase from Lidl. Pours well, nice head that lasted throughout the pint. Poured from a bottle into a pint glass. Good aroma, thought not too rich. The taste was very good. It started out fruity and dark and then went to the bitter with a hint of sweetness I would want in a porter and ended with a faint backnote redolent of unsweetened chocolate and a hint of coffee. While this is not the most complex porter I had had, it is a beer I will buy again.

Just not all that complex in my estimation.

Had it in a bottle- poured into glass.

A bit watered down and flatish compared to a great porter. The thing about other styles of beer is that if it's just ok you can just call it ok- gulp on and keep going. I love stouts and porters but for the ones that are just ehhh ok- they almost aren't all that worth drinking to me. This falls in that category.

Black body with rapidly disappearing tan head
Fantastic Aroma of coffee cola and cocoa
Same flavour with a little liquorice
Slightly thin mf
This is great especially for a supermarket beer let alone a budget one
