Tasted by a half-pint and served on gravity at the "Town Mill", a Wadworth's pub situated in a real (roughly) four-hundred-year-old town-mill (water mill) in the centre of Andover. The cask was one of around 16 served during the pub's mini-beerfestival in late summer 2008.
A: pours a translucent bright amber colour, with static carbonation and no signs of a beer head (not a problem for a gravity-dispensed real ale).
S: sour-sweet malty with mixed fruitiness like plum-flesh, oxidised apples, a little strawberry even. Quite plain overall and not very fresh.
T: a sour date-tea like flavour comes with a little spicy hoppiness and chewy bitter aftertaste. Semi-biscuity aftertaste and a little herbs, but overall very poorly-executed, and the sour edge is slightly OTT.
M&D: flat-textured and weirdly smooth, off-balance on the flavour profile. I think the cask is almost off or not fresh anyway. To do it justice I'll have to try it again, but here're my notes of this encounter anyway.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
