This is listed as retired here but I'm not sure about that. I just bought a bottle at the brewery a few weeks ago, where they had shelves full of it.
Bottle conditioned from brewery.
Copper, deep but bright. Big off white head soon thins to thin foamy, rocky top. Some lace.
Aroma strong raisin and sweet brown bread.
Taste spicy- sweet with noticeable but gentle booziness up front. Light fruitcake and hints of brandy. Some spicy woody but gentle bitterness. Very Good. Like a lighter-bodied barley wine.

Bottle conditioned. Amber with a thin, off white tight head.
Rich fruity aroma. Orchard and citrus. Marmalade, toffee and a bit of wood.
Sweetish flavour of barley sugar and light cream sherry. Tinned pears present.
Soft and vibrant carbonation. Medium body.
The best I have had from Badger and probably worth ageing a bit. Three more to go.
Retasted December 2025 - the whole has mellowed and the ageing has worked well.
