Bottle from the brewery.
Very dark brown. Small tan head soon to ring.
Aroma chocolate milk shake , chocolate liqueur candies.
Taste roasty, creamy. Hint of chocolates and coffee. Hint of sourness. Not as sweet as some milk stouts. Very nice, but not outstanding.

440ml can.
L: Very dark brown with ruby edging. Tan head is thick and lumpy and leaves lots of spotty lacing.
S: Smells like an old-fashioned English fudge shoppe.
T: Condensed milk, vanilla, caramel, milky coffee, hazelnut. A tiny bit sour. Very gentle bitterness.
F: Light body. Starts almost thin but finishes with a decent slick.
O: An indulgent but highly drinkable milk stout. Best beer I’ve tried from Badger.

Canned unusually enough for badger in a big old tallboy crafty craft can and delivered as part of a Waitrose grocery delivery
Pours a jet black body with big long lasting tan head
Aroma is big chocolate malted milk
Flavour is a little tinny that overwhelms those lovely flavours in the aroma coming through to the mouth
Thin

L - Superficially black, but very dark clear garnet red when held to a light. Clear, pours with a 2cm mid-tan pillowy pale tan head. (Great retention)
S - Rich and nutty.
T - Lactose. Milk, cream, peanut, cocoa
F - Kaleidoscope
O - Too much youthful play, not enough serious beery-stuff going on; I don;t drink beer for peanut butter thanks.
Bought from Waitrose, London. 440ml can £3 BBE: Feb-2023
