Bottled in 500ml of brown glass and they're taking the brewing to isinglass
pours a crystal clear golden body with patchy white head
Aroma is mellow lemon and stewed tea
Flavour is malted barley and low tier bitterness
not massively pale, more golden, would be interesting on cask

L- Straw/pale golden, clear as a bell with a 2mm fine-bubble foam cap. [10mins later, holds very well, forms lacing on way down...]
S- I got just a very small hint of fruit, perhaps apple, but now I struggle to get anything.
T- Bright and notably hoppy-dry. I can taste why apple came to mind, but again it seems fleeting for me, just a hint on the first sip. It seems to me to have quite a trad PA profile, a relief vs some of the more 'exciting' youth-oriented well-hopped brews.
F- Hoppy bright but with sufficient malts to balance it well. I could register the ABV% initially, but now it too seems to have ebbed away into the whole.
O- Pleasantly surprised, esp with this being more of a trad PA, versus a hipster iteration. Would happily drink this again.
First time I've seen this one, today from Waitrose 500ml bottle £2.55 BB: Feb-2027
