On tap at Kinetic Brewing Company in Lancaster, CA.
Pours a clear light gold with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, honey, citrus fruit, citrus zest, and perfume aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus fruit, citrus zest, and tea flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is tasty and light at 4% ABV.

Medium amber color with a thin mustache of foam in the pint shaker. Adequate spritziness. There is a slight silkiness to the mouthfeel. The aroma is a wee bit of graininess.
They describe this as a "Rye Pale Ale" but there is not much rye in the mix. Taste is just slightly sweet at first sip, but overall it is pretty dry and not very malty. The rye is just a touch of resiny, grainy flavor, but it leaves a nice aftertaste. A little darkness, like brown toast.
This is all quite light and quaffable. There is some bitterness that is more like the yeasty business in a Belgian than hops. I think these light rye ales are the way to go for lower-alcohol but flavorful brews, though this isn't the best example. On tap at Toronado in San Diego.
