Appearance: Arrives with a tea brown color (yes, surprising for a stout) capped by a wispy head; modest amounts of lacing
Smell: Coffee aromatics with a toasted brown bread aspect underpinning
Taste: Toasted brown bread and coffee forward, with a hint of chocolate developing in the middle; coffee dominates the finish; pleasantly dry, as well
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation (lacks the creamy quality one expects from the addition of oatmeal)
Overall: For a beer that is advertised as an oatmeal stout infused with coffee, this beer misses the mark (and by a wide margin); still, if you accept it for what it is (more of a brown ale) it is a pleasant beverage
