This one just may not be to my taste - probably worth a try.
Color is medium yellow with no head.
Nose is all bananas and dull spice with an assertive gingerbread tone.
Body is medium, nice carbonation but lacking in balance.
Flavor profile with lack of balance is biggest problem for me. Overwhelming banana spice flavor profile which could work but there is no brightness; no acid. The beer is just too "down" or "dull" for my taste.
I'd not try again but some may love it. That's why it's so much fun to taste all these different things!

Serving: on tap, into a tulip.
The beer is a dark gold, without much head, and nice lacing. The aroma is pretty mild. The taste is fairly typical for Belgian pale ale ... Belgian yeasts, bananas, a bit of sweetness and a bit of pepper. Although the beer is said to be made with lemon, I didn't pick that up. It's not an unusual Belgian pale ale, but it's really good.

Ten-year anniversary ale. Brewed with Meyer lemon peel, spices, and Brettanomyces.
Bottled 2016.
Pours a murky golden-orange with a foamy orange-tan head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Small streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is slightly sour with Brett, funk, dried lemon peel, spice, earth, and grain aromas. Taste is much the same with slightly sour lemon juice, dried lemon peel, honey, earth, spice, bread, and slight Brett and funk flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of bitterness and an alcohol kick on the palate with each sip. This beer has a good level of carbonation with a crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer with a Brett presence that comes through better in the smell to me.
Serving type: bottle.
