it seems like there are a million of these out there now, citrus infused gose types, but this one is well ahead of the median, a really well made beer, almost overly intense on the lime, but its incredibly fresh and natural fresh squeezed and juicy, and about that acidic too, so while it might not be an all day sort of thing, its a real nice drink, summery and tropical and refreshing in small doses. the lime is about as intense as it might be in an actual margarita, so if that is you palate, you have to try this! the salt works the same way as in the cocktail too, highlighting the citrus and drying out the finish a little bit. the wheat malt is super light here, almost too light, but there is enough beer elements still to keep this from being juice. the lactic souring is relatively clean, sharp though and intense, any more would be too much, but its perfectly sympathetic with the lime juice in here, really enhancing and delicious. i feel like this needs a tequila back! overall an impressive little gose from these guys, you have to want some high level flavor, but if you do, this is excellent!
