On-tap at Blue Palms
A: The beer pours amber in color with a thin off-white head.
S: Starts off with sweet caramel and toffee malts with a light floral hoppiness to the aroma. Not a very intense aroma, I must say. There is perhaps some citrus hop character and a bit of grass.
T: Sweet bread, toast, and some grassy hops. That pretty much describes the flavor up front. Light floral notes with a restrained bitterness. Caramel malts provide some sweetness on the back end.
M: Medium in body with a medium carbonation.
O: This was a pretty disappointing beer. It's supposed to be a hoppy amber ale, but I didn't find it to be that.
