Poured a golden color, crowned with a thick white head with nice lacing. The nose was nearly candy sweet, orange, with a little strawberry, balanced out with spicy bitterness. The taste was very refreshing, hoppy, but not a really fresh or dry hopped taste, doesn't repeat on you poorly like many IPAs do. I get mostly citrus in the taste though, the strawberry has dissapeared. There's a tiny bit of grapefruit, but the orange is still there in front. Finishes very crisp and resfreshing, with some slight lingering bitterness. Great session beer.
Had this last night at Grimaldi's Pizzaria in Hoboken, NJ. It appears to be specifically brewed for this estableshment. On a side note, the pizza is excellent, so if you have a chance, stop in. From the originators of the Brooklyn pizzaria of the same name. I emailed them about who brewed this, and here is the repsonse I got:
