A: Had this beer on tap at Barley's No. 1 Alehouse in Columbus, OH out of their house pint glass. It poured an amber-red with a small, quickly fading head that left a ring and a bit of lacing.

S: The smell is light, floral, and a bit of hops.

T: This is very comparable with Barley's house Irish red but not quite as good. It drinks very similar to the Harpoon Hibernian Ale. This beer has a mild maltyness with a slightly biting hop finish.

M: Mouthfeel was medium and had a bit of a bite.

D: I had one but was not inspired to have another amidst the various choices I had.

Ehh.... a decent beer
Got the scarlet ale on tap at O'Hooley's in Athens Ohio.
I've heard about this brew before, but never tried it till now.
Looked pretty good off the tap; nice amber color with about a half inch head
Smell- decent, not much there, some hop smell maybe? typical beer smell a little bit

Taste- I was expecting a lot more. Not much here. No distinctive hop or malt flavor; kinda bland; a watered down beer with some macrobrew flavor

Felt alright going down, probably won't drink another too soon; only $2 for a pint though.

On draught at Byrne’s Pub. Clear light amber color with a thin off-white head. Minimal lacing. Light malt and caramel aroma with a bit of hops. Light-bodied and fairly sweet with earthy malt and sweet caramel flavoring. Hops bitterness breaks through pretty consistently. The finish is short and vaguely bitter without a lot of flavor. This beer will probably do well here in Columbus based on gimmick value, otherwise it’s pretty run-of-the-mill.
