A: Dark ruby brown with bubbles around the rim. Some sediment.

S: Honey and caramel.

T: Repeats the nose with honey and caramel. There's liquorice too. English in character – in the same vein as Fuller's Golden Pride. Nice amount of sweetness although it is slightly too bitter. Some graininess, the sort that reminds me of fish pellets. The last few swigs are the best bit.

O: Good but not great.
