A - Poured with a small layer of white foam that rests on top of a medium-brown body with good clarity. The head settles slowly and leaves nice, thick lace.

S - Rich malt and light carmel with a hint of molasses. Some cola notes in the background as well.

T - Dry, burnt caramel malt up front with an acrid, carbonized note. More toast in the middle with some sour, musty hops. Finishes with intense bitterness and burnt toast malt notes.

M - Medium-thick body, low carbonation, and a very dry finish.

D - Quite a harsh toasted character that needs some sweetness to back it up. A nice aroma, but the flavor is surprisingly dark and harsh with an excessive bitterness. Drinkable, but not something I would order again.
