Big hop aromas and high bitterness giving a classic IPA mouth feel.

March 2014: 500 ml bottle conditioned, a gift from my beerpal Olav. Orange colour with floaties, hardly any head. Strong spicy (weird) and hoppy aroma, also notes of red wine vinegar. Nearly void of carbonation. The flavour has an unpleasant peppery and hoppy bitterness, and not much else. In other words: A fucked up bottle. Drainpour.

Listed as cask review as no option for gravity dispense, at the Battersea Beer festival, Feb '12, into an English pint glass.

Pours a dark golden / amber colour with a very thin white head.

Fruits (dried) and malts dominate the nose, a good all round earthy aroma, you just know that this beer has some bite in it!

Rich fruity hop flavours in the taste, slight hint of apple and maybe a pinch of spice in the background?

A full bodied ale, sticky in the mouth and a fairly dry finish.

Overall not a 'hop bomb' in my book, but a good earthy hoppy chewy beer, will re-visit in the future hopefully!

Very good American style IPA brewed by a guy I know so was really keen on trying. Available only upon special request from the cellar. Very good stuff and true to style. The taste is a winner and definitely its best selling point. American styl with Welsh ingrdients - how very interesting....
