June 2014: 500 ml bottle conditioned, thanks to my beerpal Olav. ABV is 4.3%. Very pale straw coloured beer, slightly hazy. Large white head. Strong aroma of over-ripe raspberries / raspberry jam. Refreshing and quite dry flavour, the raspberry notes seem rather misplaced in this dry environment. Sharpish Pilgrim hops in the dry finish. Not a beer I would bother to buy again.

Half-pint on cask at the Euston Tap.
A: Clear gold body under a finger of super-fine white foam. Good retention, great lace. Quite nice.
S: Floral hops dominate, with bready malt and appley esters providing some sweet + sour background for the clean bitterness. Enjoyable.
T: Hoppy + fruity, with floral, grassy, citrus, and apple notes all coming through. Very faint malt provides some balance before a clean, bitter finish. Tasty.
M: Light-bodied, soft, smooth, and moderately carbonated. Ok.
O: Apparently (according to the description on the other site) this one is actually brewed with raspberries, but I didn't pick up on that at all. Fruitiness, yes, but I assumed it was just yeast esters. Either way, this was a very tasty, refreshing summer seasonal, and worth checking out.
Cheers!
