I've been waiting a while for these guys to have this back in their fridges, boy. Pours pitch black, nearly not see through. Smells a bit like burnt malt. Taste? NICE!! Cocoa, coffee, malt, very light hint of hops. Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy. Overall, damn a great beer and what a regular ol' stout should taste like (get the hint Guiness!!) Need to get this again next time I'm at the brewery!!

Dark color; wimpy head; 1 dimensional flavor; short finish.
Hints of toasted malt, a sprite of coffee and chocolate but primarily light hops bitterness intoning the character of this beer.
Overall I'd call this beer a light stout. Furthermore it had a light mouthfeel-- not bad but quite average.
In conclusion, I saw nor tasted anything that would make me remember this stout.

From a 64oz growler, sampled the same day I bought it at the brewery.
Pours dark, dark brown with no head to speak of and no lacing. Smells of coffee and smoke. Caramel and burnt malt aromas.
Tastes alot like it smells. Underscored with bitter chocolate. Nutty. Full bodied with a smoky coffe-like aftertaste. This is odd but it's a lightly fruity in the middle of all this. Very nice stout. Nice and fresh! Support your local brewery!

Presentation: 12 oz brown long neck, the cap hand the impression of being had capped. No freshness date.
Appearance: Black as night with a light brown clinging lace.
Smell: Roasted coffee with a mild charcoal.
Taste: Mild burnt flavours of roasted barley, charcoal and hints of coffee. Some hop bitterness and flavour comes through along with a punchy acidic twang from the roasted barley.
Notes: Not a bad stout ... a bit too much acidic twang, yet still quite drinkable.
