Appearance – This was poured on-tap to the top of my glass, so I can’t comment much on the head. The body though was a very clear orange and nice to look at.

Smell – This is a very mellow brew. The aroma is lightly-toasted malts, similar to a good Oktoberfest, as fellow BA “lubricated” noted at the pub.

Taste – This was exceptionally creamy with a wonderful malt profile. The toasted malts were very pleasant. I thought I caught a hint of floral hopping here, but this is all about the malts.

Mouthfeel – This was the lager’s strong point, IMO. This has that creamy consistency that you get when you mix butter with creamy peanut butter. It didn’t taste like nuts, but it had that smooth consistency that’s to die for.

Drinkabilty – This was the show of the night and was ordered a few times around.
