Appearance This pint arrived with a excellent red brown color and a yellow, one-finger head. It exhibited moderate retention and heavy sheet-like lacing from start to finish.
Smell This smells both hoppy, indicating late aromatic hopping, plus significant malt aromas.
Taste Caramel abounds in the first moments with herbal and caramelly undertones. The brew has a long finish with nicely restrained, but present bitterness.
Mouthfeel This beer has a chewy, creamy, full-bodied and rich feel. Very likable.
Drinkability Excellent for the season; possibly any season. Highly recommended.
