Appearance Arrived deep garnet colored with a minimal yellow head with light retention and very light lacing. The color is very attractive.
Smell Very Belgian: dark citrus is out in front with yeasty, spicy, fruity and floral notes in the nose.
Taste In-line with the smell, fruit abounds on the tongue. A distinctly herbal and medicinal taste arises and I find it very appealing. Some raisin notes are present. The short finish favors neither malt, nor hops, nor yeast.
Mouthfeel Medium-bodied and rich.
Drinkability Though this is a good, enjoyable beer, I dont think I could have more than one in a sitting.
