Deep vermillion hue, clear(ish), slim, but staying slab of cream-toned foam.
Aroma is lightly sweet and fruity, caramelly, very pleasant.
In the mouth, a flood of tastiness. Dry, grassy hops, tangy fruit, rich and a little roasted. Starts sweet, then dries. I like that. Lip-smacking, and full of depth, a plentitude of flavors at play. Nutty, toasty, woody, maybe...
Full bodied, with a slightly sweetish, well-rounded finish. Excellent, all around.
This is quite nice, a very unique interpretation of the winter warmer notion, one I appreciate a great deal. If I don't watch out, I'll kill this growler before the night is through. Just delicious.
