This beer is somewhat impressive if only because I was not looking forward to the style very much, but still thoroughly enjoyed it. I like darker beers but hadnt tried this one from this fine brewery, so I decided to give it a spin.
It arrived golden colored with a white one-finger head that had moderate head retention and showed thick lacing from top to bottom as I drink it. The smell didnt have much to it, but some buttery diacetyl scents and perhaps a hint of a fruity ester like kiwi. The taste is grainy and exhibits tastes of grapefruit and honey. The hop taste was more pronounced than I expected for this blonde and their taste was citric and fresh. The beer was well-carbonated with a clean mouthfeel. Though not my style, this is a drinkable beer. I think it is the least interesting of this brewerys fare.

Appearance Light orangish-yellow body with a smallish head.
Smell The malt aroma is light and partially offset by a citrus hop balance.
Taste The citrus hops come out more in the taste along with a tangy finish. The malt is there as well but is faded from the nose. Theres also an occasional glimpse of light fruits such as melons and lemon.
Mouthfeel This is a light-bodied summer ale that is very refreshing.
Drinkability This would go down well on a hot day and went perfectly with my spicy lunch.

(on tap at brewpub) Nice color with a little head that disappears rather quickly. Overall very tasty and easily drinkable with a slight dry bitter finish.
