Appearance Cloudy orange with a nice head. It was a little darker color than Im used to in a Hefe Weizen, but looked fruity and appealing.
Smell The light yeast aroma was rolled nicely into the fruity fragrance of bananas and cherries. This one smells like the real thing.
Taste Wonderful flavors of light fruit including bananas, cherries, coconut, melons, and pears. The traditional German yeast was there as well, making this one right on style.
Mouthfeel This was under carbonated for a weizen but very smooth and well-blended.
Drinkability This went down quite well and served as an excellent aperitif for lunch.

(at brewpub) A surpisingly unimpressive brew from a brewpub that has amazed me. Very sweet and nutty with hints of vinegar that immediately turned me off. I hope it was an off batch or something.
