i believe this is a fresh hop brew for 2010

appearance - pours with a moderate sized head, transparent orange in color, sticky lacing recedes slowly on the glass

smell - resin and earth are the dominating smells here, very nice

taste - big hop profile, west coast ipa style, bold and fresh, resinous, dank, earthy

mouthfeel - moderate (just right) carbonation, sticky finish, slightly dry finish, lingers

drinkability - one of the best hoppy beers i've had this year, highly drinkable, sessionable, flavorful and best of all...hoppy as hell!

On tap at the original SE brewery location, served in an imperial pint nonic.

Handsome beer. Pale gold body with a finger of almost white head. The head reduces to a skim quickly, but is easily revived with a swirl and gives some decent lacing.

Nice crisp bouquet of floral and herbal hops, with a light and delicate sweet malt accompaniment. Straightforward and inviting.

Taste is perhaps a bit tame for west coast IPA standards, but that doesn't mean it's not good (it certainly is). Quite a nice subtle and balanced brew- the hops are floral and citrusy without introducing the pucker factor, while the malt backbone is bready and lightly sweet.

Light-moderate bodied with medium carbonation. Solid mouthfeel, nothing noteworthy, but nothing wrong with it.

Overall impression: Good example of a balanced IPA. Extremely drinkable brew that's sessionable and tastes great.

From a growler, capped earlier this evening. This is a harvest ale designed for easy quaffing and to showcase the hop. It pours clear gold with a substantial head that doesn't budge an inch. Unusual aroma of fresh and aged hops. The malts are light, sweet and crisp, with a slight caramel sweetness and elements of bread crust. Trademark Lucky Lab taste of wet wood. The hops jump in quickly, with a bitterness that is not too intense. The balance is fine, and the memory of piney hops linger long on the tongue. Mouthfeel thin, drinkability dangerous. This is just about the perfect beer for a sweaty night like tonight; it's light and not at all thick, with substantial flavor and a refreshing hop quality. I fear this growler will not last long.

This is a cold and pretty one, perhaps not unlike the bartender who informed me that Got Hops? is a highly hopped IPA.

A fine brew with a minty taste, GH? is heavily, but not overly hopped. The smell is crisp, fragrant, aromatic, and minty. The taste is refreshing, and the color is bronze.

I can’t say as I care for the name of this brew, but Got Hops? is a very drinkable quaffer with good lace. A bitter, strong and well balanced thirst quencher.
