Some ambers are bitters, some are alts. This one is an alt with a yeast-on-malt expression and suppressed hop flavor. It shows a sustained carpet of shroom colored head on a dark bronze body and gives off a light, musty aroma when asked to. The flavor at times hints at Ceylon tea and has a slightly edgy design that I find myself blissfully in sync with. Edgy is good. At least it is here.
