Tasted on-tap 06/04/07 at the Lucky Labrador Bewpub in Portland, OR.
Bronze-ish-amber in color with a nice tan head that leaves nice lace. A nice malty and tree sap aroma and flavor. Assume the tree sap character is from some piney/sprucey hop variety. Medium bodied and creamy smooth.
Much better than your average Amber Ale!
I wonder if this is Reggie's Red renamed ?!?

A friend brought this back from Portland, hand bottled.
Pours a cloudy amber color, with a weak head on top.
Aroma is a bit fruity, cherry like. There is also a bit of pine hop bitterness on the nose.
Taste is crisp and light. Some caramel malt flavros, and a tart and bitter mineral hop finish.
Mouthfeel is a bit flat. Might be from being a bit too old... is does feel nice and full in the mouth though, even with the weak carbonation.
Drinkability is pretty good. It is a nice crisp summer type ale... sessionable as well.
