The beer pours light gold color with very good head retention and lacing. The beer has the proto-typical pilsner nose, consisting of honey and some sharp bitterness. On the palate this beer is just delicious. The beer is very dry and bitter, with some underlying honey. There is a wonderful underlying crispness, and the mouthfeel is light and refreshing. Drinkability is amazing in this beer, except my palate is just awash with residual hoppy bitterness.
Impressive. One of the best West Coast pilsners I've had; easily the equal of some of the better East Coast pilsners I've had.
