On tap in a nonic pint. Trademark lawsuit waiting to happen or refreshing summertime beverage? Perhaps both, but let's hope this one flies under the radar. Straw colored body with a somewhat fizzy head that does manage to leave some speckly lacing.
Ho-hum appearance aside, this is a well-constructed brew that's a perfect fit for summer (which apparently only arrived at the same time I did, in late July?!?). Husky, lightly hoppy and well-attenuated. A kiss of citrus is the perfect complement to the touch of residual sweetness. Toasty and grainy with a very clean finish. You never know what sort of one-off goodness you'll run into at one of the Lab locations.
