Copenhagen 12/10 2025. 50 cl bottle from Meny, Nordens Plads, Frb. F. A drawing of minuscule people in traditional garments harvesting hops on the label.
Pours clear golden yellow with a dense mid-sized white head. Stable. Settles as a paper thin, frothy layer of foam stretching to cover the surface of the beer. Crawling up the sides of the glass. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a sweet and maly odor mingling with a bit of sour grains. Sweet pale malts, bread and metallic alcohol, Whiff of sour grains.
Light carbonation. Medium thick, oily, soft, almost flat texture.
Flavor is fairly intense with a medium strong sweetness followed by a slightly more moderate bitterness. Aftertaste is sweetish with a distinct bitter undertone. Lingers for a while. Finish is semi-dry.
More than solid Bavarian Maibock.

From the half liter bottle, it pours a clear amber color with a very nice wite to just off-white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets a bit of malt and a little spice. The mouth follows with a slightly spicy with light bitterness malt brew.
