500ml bottle at my home bar in Bavaria. The Festbier is golden/clear in color and has a stable head that lasts. Taste is really nice for the style. It is very smooth on the palate.

500 ml bottle, as Weltenburger Kloster Spezial Festbier, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 5.6%. Clear pale golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of sweetish pilsener malts, newmown grass and floral and herbal hops. Citric mouthfeel. Flavour of herbal hops on a background of moderate sweetish malts, a fairly distinct hop bitterness in the dry aftertaste. Not bad at all.

Pours a clear golden color with a big top of white head that dissolves slowly.
Aroma of grains, cereals, bisquits, sugar and some slight citrus and floral.
Taste is dry with some grainy and some cutrus notes, allong with some light malt notes in the back. Finish is quite dry and bitter and leaves a long aftertaste.
Smooth and clean mouthfeel with a medium carbonation and a medium body.
Nice and easy drinking festbier.

A: Golden, clear, medium sized head which didn't hang around too long.
S: Sugar beet, some yeasty esters.
T: Followed the nose, combined balanced sweetness with slight hints of fruit.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: Nice subtle Festbier for a warm day.
