(2012) Bought a can of this limited brew from Tanakaya in Mejiro, Tokyo. Poured into a Paulaner weizen glass. Classic cloudy wheat hefe with a thick white tasty head. Leaves a multi-layered lacing around the glass by the end of its life. Wonderful flavors coming out of a can with the taste actually improving as I drink it (the opposite of most hefes i've had). Overall, this was a great, solid hefe, and I will be looking for more brews from this brewer.
Second Review:
(2013) Had this on tap at Raku in Hiroshima, Japan. A bit more underwhelmed this time. Lowered the appearance and the overall rating. Still a decent weizen, but wouldn't be my first choice in Japan or anywhere else for that matter.
