Oh no...it's a gusher! This is a hazy amber colored brew with a beautiful, tall, stable head. The aroma is all notably Belgian: estery, slightly spicy, yeasty, and pale malt. Also, most notably, the beer has a distinct and pronounced herbal hop smell. The hops come through a lot more in the taste as well, which is quite bitter. There's a decent yeast taste, a little fruit character (pear skins?), and malt. The finish is bitter, herbal, and has a slight dry tobacco note. Medium body, with high carbonation, giving the beer a spritzy mouthfeel. Not a bad beer at all, just not particularly outstanding.
