Nov. 2009: Bottle, as Hof Korvatunturi Old Ale, RBNAG 2009 in Vatlandsvåg. Cloudy orange colour, low head. Strange aroma, some Belgian yeast, hard to classify. Fairly sweet flavour, some fruit, hints of tobacco, some mint and tea.

Bottle from ABS Drinks outside Brussels. Split. From notes.
A - Poured a muddy brown with no visible carbonation and a nice filmy retention. Two finger beige head. Kinda mysterious and inviting.
S - Spicy with dark fruits, plums and a slight booze note. Quite nice.
T - Lot's of dark fruit, spice is mild but there in a complimentary way. Really rich, boozy fruits.
M - Mild carbonation and a full body with a dry finish.
O/D - It works well. Nice blend with lot's of great fruit, rich malts, and a mild spice. Worth it.

Had this beer at the Essen Christmas beer festival, last sunday. I enjoyed this festival because of the wide variety of Christmas beers.
This one came out of the bottle into a tasting glass.
A very dark beer with a very nice head and a good smell, light sour with a malty aftertaste. An old ale which is not bad at all.
