Cloudy copper amber color. Just above average body with entry of carbonation, an overall nice feel
Aroma is banana bread , ripe bananas, spice, yeast and malt
Taste was very similar to aroma with banana bread being forward . Ripe bananas, yeast and spice follow with a dry finish that lingers. Not sweet nor bitter , stays in the middle with a mild dry finish .
Overall this was a very decent attempt at the style and I would gladly order this again. This brewery has been a great find and seems to produce some very solid beer

Hazy orange, no foam or disappeared very quickly.

Minimal citrus flavor. Fresh taste.

Overall pleasant on a hot day but not mind-blowing. Would drink it again though.

Poured a hazy deep straw hue with a one finger frothy white head. There was very good retention and lacing.

The smell featured an estery yeast, coriander, and a rindy banana.

The taste consisted of an upfront wheat spice with complex esters and a full almost sweet banana. There was a full dough malt presence as well.

The mouthfeel was toward the fuller side of the style.

Overall a tasty and full bodied hefe.

The persno who served me this beer at Triumph suggested looking for it's hints of bubblegum as well as banana and clove... I'm not sure I would have picked this out on my own but there is definitely a hint of it. Overall its quite a fruity hefe, similar to kellerweis.. The mouth and drinkability lend themselves to sipping it on a hot day or even having with some food at the brewpub. The appearance is sort of just average, though not bad obviously. Aroma has some of the fruity and clove-like characteristics but sort of restrained.

This was on tap at the New Hope Triumph around 8/3/2008, but I decided to take this one home in one of their 64 oz. growlers.

When poured into a Weizen glass, the brewpub Hefeweizen is a clear and pale lemon yellow color. Sitting on top opf this Hefe was a small less than 1/2 an inch head of white foam. This head of foam had OK retention that left behind a few foamy white rings and small streaks of white lace around the glass. The aroma was wheaty and citrusy at the same time. Hiding behind the malted wheat and citrus fruits was the scent of sweet spice bread and a hint of ripe banana. The taste was crispy and wheaty with malted wheat, plenty of spice bread, a hint of clove, and then the taste ends on a subtle touch of ripe banana. I wish the banana would have came out more, but the spice bread took its palce. A light bodied beer with a wheaty aftertaste of malted wheat, a dash of cloves, a hint of ripe banana, and a little spice bread toward the back. The aftertaste was just as good as the initial taste. In the end, it was a well rounded brewpub Hefeweizen. Well, I should say that everything besides the appearance was well rounded. It's worth a shot on a hot summer day in New Hope.

Pours a hazed amber brown. Yeasty nose that is just bringing the funk. Full banana on the flavor, which is kind of a good sign that these guys maybe sort of know what to do here. Nice robust and earthy profile. Full body feel on the mouth. Smooth carbonation. Overall very drinkable. Just a nice robust hefe.
