A - Dark brown with golden hues. Traditional German Weizen head.
S - Tangy yeast, faint spices and banana. Almost a subtle wheat doppelbock nose. A little malty, with the banana returning, almost banana flavored taffy.
T - Alot of banana again, like taffy or syrup. Some mild spices and dry, sweet wheat. Mild hop background and a touch of clove.
M - Pretty clean and semi dry. Sweet pretty much throughout.
O - Drinkable and on the mild side, this beer seemed to lack in the primary Dunkelweizen flavors and body, and had an apparent artificial banana kick. Hard style to knock out of the park with whats out there, in my opinion.

This came out from the tap, typical Dunkelweizen. It has a good just slightly cloud oak brown color, but an uncharacteristically frothy head.
The aroma was pleasant enough with just a bit of banana and clove.
The taste however was less wheaty and rich, and bit more on the slightly sour side. I can't tell if this was an intentional flavor or if the tap was not clean. In either case, IMO, not being able to tell *why* a beer tastes a certain way is bad. I at first thought that this a use of Berliner-weisse yeast but upon multiple sips began to think the beer was simply not 100% "right".

This beer was outstanding. It had a beautiful dark amber color and with a pale brown head that lingered gently for a little while. The aroma was extremely malty with noticable notes of honey.
The taste was great too. It followed the aroma with a bit of a honey-like flavor that created a sweet feeling in on the tongue from start to finish.
The moutfeel was smooth and creamy and was one that made your tongue keep telling you to pick it up and sip it again and again.
Overall, this is just another outstanding beer from Triumph brewery. If you are ever in New Hope, PA, you should definitely stop on in.

Dark hazy brew with good off white colored head and lots of lacing. Smells of light fruit esters. First flavor that hits strong but goes quick is banana. This is followed by a roasted nut flavor, and finishes with lightly hopped malty smoothness.
Light bodied with some fizz.
Decent beer, enjoyable, but the that "weizen" flavor fades too quick and is highly contrasted by following flavors.
