On tap at the New Hope Triumph on 4/6/2008. They served it to me in a slender tall pint glass.

Belgian Red poured a hazy crimson with some cherry red highlights along the edge. It had a 1/2 inch head of white foam that good retention that left behind white islands, white bubbly rings, and a few spots of white lace. The aroma was mostly yeaty with juicy fruits, olives, and lightly smoked malts. The taste was mild with corrinder, juicy fruits, toasted malts, and a small touch of yeast at the end. For a 6.8% beer, it was light to medium bodied with a decent aftertaste of juicy fruits, bitter hops, yeast, and malts. Even though there wasn't much there, it was interesting to try at least once.
