Brewed with sage and honey, commemorating the Philadelphia Business Journal's 15th Anniversary.
Pours a lightly copper tinted, light brown, clear with nice stiff cap of barely off-white head. Scent brings strong notes of herbal spice from the sage and lots of residual, almost candied like sugar from the honey. Strong earthy and bitter herbal notes lead the taste, brown and candied sugar, light caramel, toasted malts, honey, bread crust and other spice. Medium bodied, lingering herbal taste. Strong flavors from sage and honey, but base beer lacking a little.
