Had this beer back in 2009 and noted the review elsewhere. Figured I'd finally put it up here since I need to increase my "styles reviewed" count and nobody else has reviewed it.
Draft pours a bright golden color with a small white head.
Aroma is sweet honey, sweet white wine, and light fruits.
Flavor is sweet white wine and mead (well I guess it is partially a mead), pale malt, apple, pear, and booze. Good but a bit boozy for my tastes. Maybe the first release was better.
Palate somewhat boozy with medium body and carbonation. Some alcohol warmth.
Decent drinkability for the high ABV. Overall good but not amazing.
