Cask. Sparkler used. Golden straw. Misty. Thin, tight head with good retention leaving a pronounced lacing 'till the end.
Hoppy smell. Light citrus, hay and green leaves. Mild biscuit present.
More earthy and floral upon tasting with a more pronounced malt presence. Medium bitter flavour.
Soft carbonation with a middling body.
Nice for late summer.

Pours a semi clear yellow with fine head.

Smell is crackery and malty with some floral hints. Notes of citrus and corn snacks.

Taste is malty and floral with notes of watermelon candy, citrus, corn and a hint of diesel. Soft bitterness, but quite muddled.

Mouthfeel is medium, well carbonated.

Overall, not as clean and crisp as I would want a blonde to be.

A 500ml bottle with a BB of Oct 2018. Purchased a while back from Morrisons. Decribed on the label as a blonde ale brewed with organic ingredients.

A: Poured into a straight pint glass. Bottle conditioned. A rich, hazy amber hue with intense carbonation and tons of suspended sediment. Produces a huge head of fluffy white foam with good retention; this slowly reduces to a thick surface layer. Nice lacing.

S: Aroma of light grainy malt with hints of ale yeast, mild earthiness, hay and faint leafiness. OK but rather bland.

T: Tastes of grainy malt with notes of mild barley sugar, ale yeast, earthiness, hay, subtle leafiness and a hint of herbs/spice. Pretty dry, followed by a modest leafy bitterness upon swallowing.

M: Mouthfeel is smooth, tingly and dry, with spritzy carbonation and good body. Well-balanced and lightly astringent. Aftertaste of grainy malt, ale yeast and bitter leafy hops.

O: Decent enough and well-balanced, but not the most exciting ale. Looks superb, while the aroma and flavour are a staid blend of light malt, ale yeast and traditional leafy hops. Understated bitterness. Good body. Drinkable and goes down readily enough, but doesn't really leave you with the desire for another one.

Hazy straw blonde with solid carpet of white foam. Straw, flower nectar, and peaches on the nose.
Tight grain and waxy melon with faint lemon peel and spice hops.
Fruity finish and tingly linger. Soft, light, thin.

On the light end of blond. Body is too weak for surprisingly high ABV and hops are barely there. Quencher, but the same can be done so much better.

Bottle into An Brainblasta goblet in low altitude Galway, Ireland. Obtained at McCambridge's Galway.

A: A 1.5 finger head without cream and a bit thin. Hazy autumn orange-yellow colour.

Sm: Fresh barley and malt. Minimal.

T: Hoppy flavours mixed together indiscriminantly. Not fruity or spicy per se. A crisp, pleasant finish. It's balanced, albeit strangely built. Bittering hops are not at all prominent. Some fruit does come through but it isn't distinct.

Mf: Crisp and pleasant. Nicely coarse.

Dr: Pretty average for the price. Typical ABV. Surprisingly good for an organic ale (call me biased).

A - Poured into a pint a hazy golden colour with a centimetre or so of white head that falls away fairly quickly.
S - Light floral and citrus notes. A bit of a sour touch.
T - Light floral & citrus also in the taste. Some vauge light malt. A lemon citric tartness is also in there.
M - Light bodied, medium carbonation.
D - OK for what it's trying to be but nothing to get excited about.
