Although I was not present for the tapping of the cask, I did not yet have 20 beer reviews under my belt in order to add a new offering, so here we go...
For reference, my serving was cask-conditioned but the brew is currently offered on tap.
Boscos serves each of their beers in logoed pint glasses. The pour was not perfect (we were sitting at a table rather than the bar), so it may have sat a moment or two before being brought to us. As such there was no head at all remaining (not true of my companion's porter, however). Color was nice though, a robust golden-copper blend with glowing maize when held to the light.
Smell is ok...there is a definite fruit and hop presence, probably a slight waft of estery alcohol, too. The O.G. is listed at 1073, leading me to suspect an ABV of at least 7%.
The beer tastes, simply, strong. Dextrin malts are the intital smooth hit and strong citrus and hops at the end. There is a juniper-like cleanliness to the hops which still provides excellent balance to a very full malt body that is nice to chew on.
Try this one if you have the opportunity. The server told me they sometimes cut folks off after 2 pints...but it didn't make a Fool out of me.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
