Appearance: Arrives at the bar with a hazy dark golden color and a very nice head that leaves sheets of lace
Smell: Toffee predominates with hints of ginger and molasses
Taste: Opens like it smells, with a touch of ginger snap cookie; mid-palate, the molasses and fruity flavors build and, after the swallow, a herbacious bitterness enters the fray
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Drinkability: Nice rendition of this rarely-brewed style
