A - Hazy golden yellow in color. Thick white head with good retention. Very little lacing in the glass.
S - This is going to sound weird, but I got a big aroma of oregano. Yeah, oregano. There was a somewhat wheaty smell in the background, but it was dominated by oregano.
T - Still dominated by the oregano. Somewhat citrusy taste as well. Some orange flavor and a hint of corriander, much like the menu said.
M/D - Very chewy mouthfeel. The overbearing taste of oregano was just too much for me.
The menu describes the beer as "Our regular American style wheat beer with a twist. We have added a blend of herbs and spices including coriander, orange peel and a secret herb." I really think the secret herb is oergano. Passed it around the table and the people I was with concurred. While oregano is a good herb for cooking, I really dont think it belongs in a beer.
