pours out of the 22 oz. bomber a tawny, hazy light chocolate colour..decent sized tannish head and plentiful lace. heavenly aroma of fruiten malts, some choco and caramel...and plenty of those rogue hops. this one absolutely smells delicious. in all reality, the taste doesn't live up to the hype the aroma puts forth; i'd say the use of bitter hops is the flavour in the forefront, with a light candied malt backing...such as some toffee and chocolate covered cherries. again, lots of hop flavours abound...so some might say not balanced...but i like it. medium body, crisp mouthfeel. very sessionable and easy to quaff. lingering bitterness in the finish...oh those hops are heavenly!

another thanks to my buddy tony for bringing this one from oregon during the weekend of my wedding.

Medium brown color, small head. A medium bodied amber ale. Roasted malts and very hoppy. Big full flavor, complex taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is smooth. Aftertaste is bitter. Etched painted bottle. Proceeds benefit the Issaquah Valley Trolley
