On tap at Issaquah Brew House
Appearance - Served in a tulip, sunset orange with a slight salmon hue. Thin, broken layer of suds. Fair lacing with broken lines and some spotting.
Smell - Sweet, mild aroma. Grain and soft fruitiness. Faint grass.
Taste - Follows the nose. Grainy, seet malt with some mild, red applish fruity esters. Not much for hops outside a hint of earthy bitterness. Finishes mild with the fruitiness.
M - Medium-bodied with low to moderate carbonation. Velvety texture lends itself to an easy drink with a a soft finish.
O - A decent beer. Nothing to write home about, but its a fair flavor and goes down easy.

Pours a clear, dark red color. 1/4 inch head of an off-white color. Slight retention and slight lacing. Smells of sweet malt, hint of hop, slight yeast, and slight fruit. Fits the style of an American Pale Ale. Mouth feel is sharp and clean, with an average carbonation level. There is also a noticeable dryness. Tastes of sweet malt, hint of chocolate, hops, slight yeast, and a slight fruit. Overall, weak appearance, decent aroma, good body, and good blend.

THIS IS NOT A BEER FOR THE UNADVENTUROUS! This is a unique beer and the flavors in each sip do seem to vary a little bit as it warms. Poured a reddish brown, lighter brown color with a mild amount of head. Hops were mild and not right up front. The flavors of the different vegetables are evident but seem to come and go depending on the sip. Balance was a little off as I tasted different things with each sip. Unique beer that I would not try again, but was worth splitting the 22oz bottle with a buddy.

Slight purple tinge on an otherwise light reddish brown. Love the big frothy head with a reddish tinge. Sweet, with a little funk. Has some sour mash notes, probably from the purple corn. Starts off sweet again with brown and malt but rounds out with a crisp flowering bitter tanginess at the end. Just the right amount of hops. Notes of rose petal and vegetable flavors of red bell pepper, celery and carrots. Good texture; thick enough to have a full rounded body but not do big that it overwhelms. This beer is absolutely not for everyone. The flavor profile is very unique. Some sips I like it and some sips.. it's just weird.
