Good pale ale, nice hop flavor, floral & citrus, with a hint of citrus fruit. Fairly good head, off white and pillowy. Better than the commercial large batch pale ales from the giant brewers.
I purchased this can at Winco and it has an orange label and Mount Rainier on it. Almost an IPA in flavor with a doughy yeast taste and bread/cereal malt. I'm an IPA fan so this is very good. Rated 10-10-2018

Poured from a 12 ounce can into a tulip glass.
Look- Deep amber, small particulate sediment, above average head retention and lacing.
Smell- Piney, bready.
Taste- Malty, pine, bready, malt lingers on palate.
Feel- Medium body, average carbonation.

12oz can at Mount Rainier National Park. Poured a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of caramel, pine and citrus. Sweet caramel with a nice bitter bite.

Pendleton Pale pours a amber to copper color with a foamy white head that coats the majority of the surface as it recedes, and sticks minimally to the glass.
It smells earthy. Rogue has a way of making their pale ales have an old skool weed and dirty earth smell to them and this one is no exception. Herbal and spicy/peppery notes followed.
The flavor follows. I'd swear there is rye in this as it is superbly spicy, and the soil like notes continue to expose themselves. Very flowery undertones come through in the after taste.
Somehow, Pendleton manages to stay crisp and bitter. There is a touch of residual oiliness, but overall it's pretty dry.
A decent pale ale very much in the old skool vein. Cheers!

12oz can purchased at Bottles, in Millwood, Washington, for $1.99. 20549 is stamped on the bottom. Apparently it's honoring both Pendleton Woolen Mills and Mt. Rainier National Park..
Hazy orangey amber color, with a thin, off-white head that dropped almost immediately. No lace.
Slightly citrusy hop aroma. Not much else there.
Slightly lemony, slightly tea-like. Not very interesting.
Light to medium bodied, with a thin, watery mouthfeel.
Pretty bland, thin stuff. Might be old, but who knows when there's no decent date?

12oz single can, from the typically stupidly overpriced six-packs this kind of stuff shows up in around these parts right now.
This beer pours a generally clear, medium golden amber colour, with three fingers of puffy, loosely foamy, and chunky off-white head, which leaves some sparse paramecia lace around the glass as things quickly blow off.
It smells of bready and crackery pale malt, generic domestic citrus flesh, a touch of earthy yeastiness, and more leafy, weedy, and piney green hop bitterness. The taste is bready and grainy pale malt, a much less caramelized sweetness, still muddled citrusy notes, a wee earthy flintiness, and more leafy, floral, and herbal hoppiness.
The carbonation is rather involved in its testy and probing frothiness, the body a decent middleweight, and mostly smooth, with a very plain smoothness that owes itself to a real lack of assertive hop acridity, in a strangely ironic manner. It finishes off-dry, the basic banality of this offering fulling exposing itself, as such.
Overall, there is really nothing all that wrong with this particular brew, but by the same dull-ass sword, there's nothing really all that right about it, either. Simple, plain, and easily replaced by much more affordable local options, full fucking stop.

Appearance - Pours hazy and golden orange in color with an off-white, finger width head. So-so retention before dialing back to a thin, broken layer of suds across the surface. Not much for lacing outside a few spots here and there.
Smell - Aroma hits on notes of orange skin, light pith and some crackery malt character.
Taste - Follows the nose. Fair hop character that revolves around orange flavor; light sweetness and also some pithy bitterness. Malts sit beneath, but come through with generic, bready sweetness and faint caramel. The finish is balanced, with distant, lingering orange pith leaving it's mark on the tongue.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with fairly lively carbonation. Smooth, easy drinker with a crisp, refreshing finish.
Overall - Simple. easy drinking beer that packs just enough citrus punch to keep it interesting. Good camping brew, or one for sipping on the back porch while your grandpa plays guitar and tells jokes. :)
It won't wow you with complexity, but it's tasty and refreshing enough to want you craving another sip until you've killed 3-4 without thought.

Poured 12 oz can into standard pint glass. Very nice amber color, slightly hazy. Thin head that dissipated quickly. Not much lacing. There is not much in the aroma. Light malt at most. The flavor is not much to rant about. Watery beer. The feel is watery also. I think the best aspect of this beer is that Rogue donates a portion of sales to state parks.
